There can be several Marquee Source Layout Controllers connected to a Compere project, perhaps a very large display with multiple user areas.

When one controller is manipulating a window or group, other controllers are locked out. This ownership persists for around 20 seconds after last action. When there is an owner active on another controller, blue window outlines will be red.

One controller can be creating arrangements and presets in preview mode while another is interacting dynamically. When they go live, their arrangement will be asserted.
