Visualise Panel Settings

Menu: Configuration > Settings > Visualise Panel

These settings relate to Compere Visualise, Compere’s 3D theatre view, which is not covered in this guide.

View V Angle (degrees)
Field of view on the scene. Fit more into view without getting closer and changing the perspective. The default is 45 degrees. This is equivalent to zooming the view of the scene rather than zooming within the scene.

Move in World Space
move to axes of 3D scene, not of a selected object

Enable VR
Used for Virtual Reality headsets

View is Perspective (chk)
Switch between perspective and orthographic views

Show World Orientation
displays interactive world axes (click the icons to align view with an axis)
X = red, Y = green, Z = blue

Show Frusta
show projector frusta

Show Projector View
enables display, in a smaller area of the scene, of what is in scope of a projector’s lens, as seen from the viewpoint of the lens. Interacts with the Visualise toolbar button that also toggles view for a selected projector.

Projector Map Mode
Select from the dropdown list, this is also selectable from the Visualise panel toolbar mode button.

Projector View Width
Scales the Projector View display, 0 (smallest) to 1 (largest, fills 95% of the scene width), default is 0.3. Holds the aspect ratio of the projector. This view scales with the scene window.

Show Projected Pixel Grid
Shows a black border around every pixel. This works by reducing the footprint of each pixel, to give a better idea of resolution on a real-life surface.

Projector Mapping Bias
Adjusts light intensity for all projectors.

Calibration Mode
For real-life adjustment of vertex points. Select a vertex on a mesh model in 3D view, then switch to cal mode, observe the real life point and move around on the green square to position the point accurately.

Enable Lighting
Enable or disable the artificial background, ambient and directional lighting in the scene.

Camera Exposure
Overall exposure control higher value dims when working in Design mode.

Intensity Threshold
For use in illumination threshold mode.

Live Blends
Dynamically create autoblend files. Can be observed as objects move in relation to each other.

Blend Gamma
Adjust projector response curves.

Invert Blends
Switch ‘black to white’ to ‘white to black’.

Blend Edge Config Enable
Enables/disables manual configuration of blend edges.

Show Bounding Boxes
enable the display of a box around objects. Interacts with the Visualise toolbar button that also toggles box display for a selected object

Show Origin Axes
display axis lines for all objects, bright for +ve, dim for –ve

Show Object Labels
display names of objects in the scene

Labels Scaled as World
text of object labels zooms with view

Show Grab Handles
display the gimbal with grab handles when an object is selected
