Delta Media Servers hold all the media resources, each delivering up to 16 video channels and up to 32 audio channels. One server may do all the work, or they can be grouped as master and slaves to distribute and optimise performance. Show creation and display alignment uses the DeltaGUI application, running on a separate PC or laptop, communicating over Ethernet to the DeltaServer software. All user-created shows, media and settings are stored on the Delta Media Server so that the DeltaGUI is not required during normal daily running of the show. A subset of show and server controls is available over the web interface built into the server, including a live streamed preview of the show.
