Outlining is a temporary moving edge around a resource which can be used to locate a resource onscreen in a complex show, or simply show the edge of (for example) an image used as a mask.

To Outline a resource on the timeline: right-click on the resource and select ‘Outlined’ or ‘No Outline’.

You can also use the right click context menu on a single or multiple selected resources to Outline or Clear Outlining.
