Overview

The Videro Media Player is dedicated to playback media. It can be controlled by the MxM to retrieve media list, play a specific channel, program or composition. Its Audio Volume is adjustable and the Media timecode can be used to trigger tasks.

Installation

No specific installation required.

Device Setup

Device creation window:

“IP Address”: Indicates the IP address of the Videro Media Player.

“Time Code Type”: Type of Time Code used for this device. Each media must be set with the same Time code type in the Videro Media Player.

Device Commands

Play (Transport)

Start playback of a specific channel, program or composition.

Stop (Transport)

Stops playbacks.

Next (Transport)

Skips current composition. Depending on composition settings, the next composition will be picked by the playback queue logic.

Get Channels (Playlist)

Get the Channel list of the Videro Media Player.

Get Programs (Playlist)

Get the Program list of a specific channel.

Get Compositions (Playlist)

Get the Composition list of specific channel and program.

Set Volume (Transport)

Set the volume of the Videro Media Player.

CurrentChannel

[String] Name of the current channel in the Videro Media Player.

CurrentProgram

[String] Name of the current program in the Videro Media Player.

CurrentComposition

[String] Name of the current composition in the Videro Media Player.

CurrentMedia

[String] Name of the current media in the Videro Media Player.

Note: This data is filled only if the timecode of the video is set up.

CurrentMediaDuration

[Time] Duration of the current media.

Note: This data is filled only if the timecode of the video is set up.

CurrentMediaTimecode

[Time] Timecode of the current media.

Note: This data is filled only if the timecode of the video is set up.

Volume

[Integer] Volume of the current media. Its value is between 0 and 100.
