Overview

CueStation is a family of button (1, 2, 3, 4 or 8) stations with embedded LEDs. Using either a 2-Wire or a 5-Wire network technologies, they are connected to a CueStation Universal Network Hub which provide Ethernet connectivity. The Hub acts as both a power supply for the stations as well as a gateway for allowing host systems to receive button events and instruct the button indicators to illuminate in various ways. For more information about CueStation, see Interactive Technologies CueStation.

Device Setup

Manager Device Setup

Hub Address: Indicates the address of the hub where the station are connected. Multiple hubs can be connected on an Ethernet network, hence, hence require different addresses. Address range is 0 to 255.

Station Address: Indicates the address of the CueStation attached to the hub. The address range is 0 to 255. However, there is a physical limitation to 10 stations connected to a single hub, but two or more hubs with the same address can reside on the network as long as each attached station has a different address.

Local Adapter Address: Indicates the address of the Ethernet adapter on which the communication with the station will occur. This settings is shared with all the IT station devices.

Showmaster Editor Device Setup

Hub Address: Indicates the address of the hub where the station are connected. Multiple hubs can be connected on an Ethernet network, hence, hence require different addresses. Address range is 0 to 255.

Station Address: Indicates the address of the CueStation attached to the hub. The address range is 0 to 255. However, there is a physical limitation to 10 stations connected to a single hub, but two or more hubs with the same address can reside on the network as long as each attached station has a different address.

Local Adapter Address: Indicates the Ethernet adapter on which the communication with the station will occur on Showmaster, either LAN1 or LAN2 depending on the Showmaster model. This settings is shared with all the IT station devices.

Editor Adapter Address: Indicates the address of the Ethernet adapter on which the communication with the station will occur on Showmaster Editor when the project is run into the Editor. This settings is shared with all the IT station devices.
