Overview
Windows MIDI MRC provides support for Microsoft Windows MIDI port resources. MIDI boards or MIDI interfaces which have a Windows MIDI driver installed will be supported by this MRC as a regular Windows MIDI port.

No specific installation is required.

Resource Scanning
This MRC doesn’t support ressource scanning feature.
Setup
Windows MIDI resources are automatically detected on startup, they will appear as available MIDI resources.
You may add “virtual” MIDI ports to your project by right clicking the “New Resource > Windows MIDI” menu and choosing which port you wish to add:
The Windows MIDI creation dialog box is displayed:
- Select a port.
- Select a port direction.
- Click Ok.
The new created Windows MIDI resources appears in the resource list, but it is highlighted in red, because this resources doesn’t exists physically:
