Overview
Windows COM MRC provides support for Microsoft Windows COM serial port resources. Serial boards or serial interfaces which have a Windows COM driver installed will be supported by this MRC as a regular Windows COM port.
Installation
No specific installation is required.

Resource Scanning
This MRC doesn’t support ressource scanning feature.
Setup
Windows COM resources are automatically detected on startup, they will appear as available Serial resources.
You may add “virtual” COM ports to your project by right clicking the “New Resource > Windows COM Serial” menu and choosing which port you wish to add (up to 255):
The Windows COM creation dialog box is displayed:
Select a port and click Ok.
The new created Windows COM resources appears in the resource list, but it is highlighted in red, because this resources doesn’t exists physically:
